The Drill Team showcases precision, discipline, and teamwork as cadets master military drill and ceremonies. Demonstrating the highest standards of excellence, members execute intricate movements with impeccable accuracy. Whether in armed or unarmed drill, our cadets practice tirelessly to represent our unit with distinction at competitions.

Discipline and teamwork are fundamental to our NJROTC program, and the Drill Team exemplifies these values. Success in drill starts with self-discipline, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. Cadets take pride in their appearance, movements, and ability to work as a cohesive unit.

Beyond drill skills, team members enhance their leadership abilities, learning to lead with confidence and precision. We closely monitor their progress, offering guidance to ensure they perform at their best. The Drill Team is not just about skill—it's a testament to the dedication and discipline that define our NJROTC program.

The Drill Team is divided into four distinct routines: Unarmed Regulation, Armed Regulation, Unarmed Exhibition, and Armed Exhibition. Each routine offers cadets the opportunity to showcase their discipline, precision, and teamwork in unique ways.

Unarmed Regulation Commander: C/SCPO Prasiddhi Shrestha

Unarmed Regulation serves as the foundation for all other drill teams. Here, cadets learn the basic building blocks of drill, including marching, stationary movements, and other fundamental skills. These basics are crucial for success in other routines, as they instill the discipline and precision necessary to excel in more advanced drills.

Armed Regulation Commander: C/LT Jayden Cruz

Armed Regulation focuses on delivering a sharp, accurate, and uniform performance. Cadets work tirelessly to perfect their movements, practicing with rifles to ensure every action is executed with precision. The team trains together to achieve cohesion, ensuring that every drill movement is synchronized to create an impressive display of discipline and skill.

Exhibition routines take drill to the next level by transforming basic movements into a captivating rhythm. Cadets in both Armed and Unarmed Exhibition teams incorporate stomping, slapping, and synchronized movements to create dynamic and unique performances. These routines allow for greater creativity, with cadets projecting chants, forming intricate formations, and executing both simple and complex movements. The freedom to innovate and express themselves through drill makes Exhibition a particularly exciting and engaging aspect of the Drill Team.
